Headbands and Hair Clips

Hey there!

Can you believe it's Friday again already??  Wow this summer break is really going by fast.  I thought I'd have more time to crochet and sew and do other things I've been wanting to do during the summer months but it seems we stay busy no matter if we're doing school or not.
Sigh...
I wanted to crochet something that was quick and easy and that would bring immediate satisfaction.  I did a search for flower headband and came across this one from Boomer Beanies.

It's called the Miss Priss Headband and you can find it on Ravelry

I really like the rolled flower on these headbands.  I chose not to add a button.  I didn't think it needed it since I rolled the flower pretty tight.  But it would look darling with one too.

I made 3 of these today.  They work up so quick .
I had fun digging through my yarn drawers and picking out some colors for the flowers.  I can tell this will be one of my favorite "go to" patterns.

These two little beauties are flower hair clips.  I don't have a pattern link for this one but any 'ol flower pattern will do.  A button, some leaves and an alligator clip and that's it.

Fun, simple, and cute!

I'm hoping to rent  a booth soon for my crochet and craft items.  Has anybody had any luck selling crochet items at a craft booth?  I don't know if they sell too well but I think it's worth a shot.  We'll see. But in the mean time I'll be trying to build up enough stuff to fill one.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

:)

  1. They are all so pretty, unfortunately people want things for nothing I've found, but good luck with the selling. :)

  3. Hello Foxxy~
Your blog is just beautiful. Looks like we are kindred spirits :)
I homeschooled my youngest daughter from through junior and senior high school. Wonderful memories!!! I have 2 daughters. Hilary is 27 and Chelsea is 25. Both married and I have a 6 year old granddaughter. Aaahhhh.... life is good. Chelsea and her family live 2 doors over from me and Hilary and her hubby are moving in across the street tomorrow. We are truly blessed.
I am looking forward to getting to know you here. Your crochet is gorgeous!
    Have a lovely day,
    Danette
