Secret Santa Swap

Hello sweet friends!  Hope your enjoying your weekend.  It's been a slow, quiet Saturday around here.  The weathers been real nice the past couple of days.  In the mid 60's with just a slight breeze.  Perfect weather for taking a walk with hubby in the evenings.

A couple of exciting things to report today.  First one is I have a new follower.  Yay!  I know it's only exciting to me and not you but I don't have very many and one new follower always makes me happy.   I just wanted to give a Gayle of Garden of Daisies blog a special warm welcome.  She is now on my sidebar, as are all of my followers.

The second exciting thing has to do with Christmas.  I know it's a little early to start thinking about Christmas but some special cases, like this one, require early planning and preparation.

I noticed that The Colorado Lady was hosting a Secret Santa Swap.  I thought it was a fun idea and decided to participate.  I've never been a part of a secret santa game before between bloggers.  I've played it at Christmas time with family and even at church but never with people I've never met who live all across the country.  Nevertheless, I was intrigued and signed up to participate.  I just love the idea of making something special for my secret santa partner.  All I'll know is maybe a little bit of what she likes and what her favorite things are.  So I'm looking forward to receive my information so  I can get started shopping my favorite antique stores in search of little vintage treasures or making a little homemade gift. It's the perfect excuse to hit the stores.
If any of you are interested in the Secret Santa Swap and you'd like to join in on the fun, you can read all about it at The Colorado Lady's blog.  Click on the picture below for a direct link over there.

Til next time,
