A little something in the works...

Happy new year to all of my blogging friends!

A new year is upon us already. Can you believe it's 2015 already?  We were flipping through channels on New Years day and found the movie Back to the Future II on.  It had been so long since we had seen it but we got a kick out of seeing what their vision of 2015 was like.  It was very comical to say the least.  Our kids enjoyed watching it too. It's definitely a classic 80's movie.

I've got a little something in the works.
I found a nice cowl scarf  pattern on the internet and decided to give it a go.
I really like it so far.
It's working up very quickly which I like very much.
I curled up on the couch yesterday after church for a
couple of hours and was able to get all this done. It's a fairly easy pattern.
This color of yarn reminds me of Spring.  It makes me thing of green grass and plush lawns.  I can almost hear the birds chirping.  A winter storm passed through here a couple of days ago and dropped ten inches of snow on us.  It's been so cold here lately.  Working with this yarn makes me smile and and reminds me of warm, sunny days that are not far away.

  6. That's such a pretty color. I seem to have trouble with greens in yarn, they never feel right to me. But that one is perfect and just what I try to find.
