Crochet Bracelet

Hello there!

Mighty fine day we're experiencing here in New Mexico.
Can you believe it's still warm?
The sun is shining and it's a pleasant 76 degrees.
Mmmm...I'm loving it.
Perfect weather.

I whipped up something this weekend.
I made myself a cuff bracelet.
I didn't follow a pattern.
Just some yarn and a hook and a little bit of inspiration and creativity.
I worked on it here and there throughout the day on Saturday
and at the end of the day this is what I ended up with.
It has sort of a corsage feel to it with the cluster of flowers.
But it's delicate and feminine and I like it.
It makes me smile.

It was a little hard taking a picture of myself wearing it but you get the idea.
:)

This weekend my family and I will be traveling to Texas to celebrate what would be my dad's 70th birthday.  Some of you may know that my father passed away from gastric cancer only seven weeks ago.  I am getting more and more emotional as the days go by and the day of his birthday gets nearer. I am looking forward to it but also dreading it at the same time if that makes any sense.

Bid me strength friends.
♥♥♥
Til next time,

  2. I love your crochet braclet it is very lovely.. I understand how you feel about your dad...I lost my mom who was my best friend.. Two years ago. And I'm still dealing with it.. death is so very hard. I have so many mixed emotion.. But as time goes by it does truly get a bit easier. I try to look at it that she was so tired and she is resting now.. She doesn't have to feel all that pain anymore she developed a lung desease and never smoked.. You papa is resting now.. My heart goes out to you.. Feel yours with all the good memories of him.. Look forward to this celebration of his life.. You will feel better... Let him live through your heart... No more pain he fills... Sending love and hugs .. Thank you for your visit, with love Janice..
