Well the craziness of the Christmas season has come and gone.
The rush has been replaced with a restful calm and the days have been a bit quieter around here.
The kids are still home on holiday from school which has been nice.
I hope you all had a nice Christmas as well and are enjoying some much needed tranquility.
It doesn't seem possible that another year has come and gone, but none the less here we are at the end of December already.
It's amazing how fast the days and months slip by.
I'm always a bit sad to see the year come to an end. It makes me a little nostalgic.
2016 will be a year I will remember always as the year my Dad died. A year full of memories that I will think back on often and carry in my heart forever.
The wonderful thing is that with the new year comes
...new hopes
...new dreams
...new goals
...new wishes
...new adventures
...& new blessings.
I pray that 2017 will be all that you want it to be and that the good Lord will bless abundantly with his goodness and mercy.

Here is to new beginnings.
Happy New Year!
