When you come across a vintage Moon and Stars canister with no lid...

 and you buy it anyway...

because even something damaged and broken can find beauty and purpose.

Plus, it was only 2.99 so,

  4. It's a beauty and can be used for so many things as you've clearly shown. :) My husband keeps coming home with all sorts of things people are throwing out to the curb. I've got lots of upcycling to do.

  6. Why not indeed! How lovely your 'lid-less' Moon and Stars canister looks. It is perfect storing the utensils and with the pretty vine overspilling from it. Why, I think imperfect is perfectly perfect♥

  7. Perfect! I have quite a few vintage things around the house that were my nanna's, then mum's and now mine. I love vintage; beautiful and designed to last. Jane :)

  10. So why not! We all get it, because we have done the same thing at one time or another. It will be useful in many ways . . . I'll bet all those angles would reflex a pretty light if you ever decided to drop a candle in it :)

  12. Why not! Oh that is lovely with the planting. If I can find a use for something, that's a totally non-guilt purchase, lol. Love how you have used your sweet jar!
