Vintage Finds

Today was a good day!

While driving the kids to piano lessons I saw a sign for a garage sale.

I hadn't been to a garage sale in months so I was tempted to drive to it and check it out in hopes of finding some great junk to bring home.

Well that's exactly what I did.

Can you believe this delightfully vintage Coleman cooler I found?  I totally love this turquoise color right now.

Also found a full size chenille bedspread, a cool enamel container, a few glass jars, and one cool milk bottle.

I have plans for the milk bottle.  You'll have to wait and see what I do with it.  ;)

But this is by far my most favorite find of the day.

Talk about blast from the past.

It even has a bottle opener on either side of it.

The chenille bedspread fit my daughters bed perfectly.
Hmmm...

I adore vintage stuff.

It makes me happy to find something that had a previous life...

and bring it home and love it, care for it, and use it again.

Junking is so much funner than driving to the local discount chain and grabbing something off the shelf.

Don't you agree?

:)

Til next time,
