Baking and Crocheting

Hello friends!  Hope your weekend is going swell.  Ours is being spent indoors on the cause that its cool and breezy outside.  Yes, that fall weather is settling in. The temps are falling, the wind is blowing, and the leaves are turning colors.  To me, that indicates it's time to throw on an apron and start baking some bread.
Hmmm....I love the smell that comes from the kitchen in the fall, don't you?
I made this pumpkin bread from a recipe I found on the Allrecipes website.  It is soooooo good.  I added pecans and dried cranberries and it was delish!  I made 2 loaves and my family of five finished them off really quick.
This recipe is a keeper.  One slice won't be enough.  You'll want two.  Oh yeah, it's that good.
On another note, I finished the boot cuffs I started a few days ago.  I ended up using a finer yarn than what the pattern called for.  The worsted weight made them too bulky and thick.  I'd like to make another pair in a different pattern.

Pattern for the boot cuffs is here
