Coasting Into Spring...

Well, it's not quite here yet but it is right around the corner.  The weather's been crazy lately.
Warm one day, cold the next.  It always seems that winter sticks around a lot longer than I
want it to. I need some sun.  I need some warmth.  I can't wait to wear one of my summer
skirts and walk around in flip flops.  I'm so ready!
 But in the mean time
 we can prepare.
I was wondering what to do with all the cotton yarn I bought.  I knew that coasters and pot  holders are made with cotton so I searched for a design that was pretty but simple at the same time..  I'm sure there are a gazillion patterns out there for coasters but I focused on this one
I'm really loving this soft ecru color.  I have an idea for these but I can't reveal it to you just yet. So for now you'll have to wait.

These bright ones are so fun!  They would be great in a dorm room or even for a little girl's birthday party to decorate the table or use as part of the place setting.  These will likely end up in my Etsy shop.   I've neglected it for a while but it's time I start adding new things.
I've seen a few green things popping up outside in the flower beds.  The signs are definitely here so hopefully it won't be long now.  The good thing is I went all winter without getting sick once.  Not even a cold.  It definitely helps that we home school and don't catch all the germs out there being passed around.  That's one of the benefits of homeschooling.

Hope you're all doing well and enjoying the week.
Blessings,
Beca

I am really impressed and so glad that we became yarn/blog friends. Have a wonderful weekend. By the way there is no sign of spring here in NY and there is still ice and snow all around!
