A little doxie love...

I finished the embroidery pattern I started on last week. 

 I was quite a simple pattern but it took me a few days to finish since I don't have much time during the day to work on it.  Hubby and I went and made a few visits Saturday afternoon and I took my little basket with me.  I managed to stitch a little between stops as we drove around town.   I was finished with it by the time we got home.  I had an idea for these little doggies and I stayed up late that night to sew a cover for my planner.







 I know I don't have the best sewing skills but I think it turned out alright...

and...

I'm pretty sure Penny and Belle approve of it too.   :)

    I love these little dogs! I had a daschund when I was a kid (big standard size), and he was that lovely reddish brown like yours. Such adorable little guys :) I love the idea of making a cover for your planner too. Great choice with the red plaid. Thanks for visiting my blog! Wendy

    That cover is adorable, Beca! As are the models. : ) I love how it turned out. I don't consider myself the best sewer either, but I tend to know my limits. Although, sometimes I surprise myself so I like to try out different sewing projects. Thanks very much for your comment on my sewing bunny. I am a bunny nut so it is a lot of fun for me to sew up these little guys!
