Ahh! Here we are 2 days into August already. Can you believe that?? How did that happen so soon??
I really wish time would slow down a little bit. I'm enjoying summer break way too much to see it come to an end. Every time I walk into the store I'm reminded of how little time we have left this summer. The shelves are stocked full of back to school stuff. Seeing that always makes me a little sad. Not quite ready to start the school year yet.
I haven't had much time to crochet lately but I still manage to sneak some in here and there. Mainly in the morning and in the evening when I'm winding down. Here are some tutus I've finished.
Pattern is by Betty Fay Wallace. This one is newborn size. |
It's a Lacey tutu or could also be called a lacey skirt.
This one is a little bit longer. 3 + months size. |
These would look so cute worn with a onesie for the summer time or over some leggings for the winter time. They make great photo props.
I got an idea while I was making these. Wouldn't they look great done in school colors??? Football season is approaching soon you know.
This month will be a busy one for us. We have a wedding to go to. Hubby and I are planning a short get away. Youngest daughter will be having a birthday party. And oldest daughter will be heading back to college . :( A lot of things to plan for.
I thought my window box looked pretty so I took a photo to share with y'all.
Go on out there and enjoy some warm weather and sunshine!
Happy Saturday friends!
Your baby tutus are darling, and that flower box looks great! We are getting new flower boxes that hang from the fence today. I think we're going to plant morning glories in them and let them drape.
ReplyDeleteThose tutus are just cuteness overload! Oh my, so adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi how adorable they look. You did a great job making them.
