A Sweet Hello...

You take a little break from blogging and before you
know it three months have gone by...

My my!

It's already February of a new year.
How crazy is that?

I did not intend for that much time to go by but you know how busy
 November and December are...

and January just sneaked right past me.

I do miss my blogging.  I just wonder if anyone misses me.  I know I don't have very many readers or followers but quietly on the inside I like to think that someone out there knows I exist and comes to find me here on my little speck of the world wide web.  I've thought about my blog and I don't want to let it go but sometime there's things going on in the real world that pull you away.  I know you all know what I mean.  The good thing is that my blog is always here and I can come back to it when life slows down a bit.  The rush of the holidays had me exhausted and I feel now that I'm getting my groove back.

The winter has been mild so far.  The wind has been blowing and everything is dusty and dry.  This is about the time of year I start longing for Spring.  Although I always feel guilty saying that because we should appreciate every day the Lord gives us.  And I do.  But the truth is I get bored with Winter very quickly and I begin looking forward to Spring, which I am happy to say, is not too far away.

I don't have a lot of exciting things to share with you .  The few pictures I've taken are little snippets of my quiet life in New Mexico.

The pics are subtle and serene but I assure you the fullness of life is swirling all around this little abode, as it would with five people living here.

I have managed to do a little crocheting and knitting.  I'll share those things with you in future posts because I haven't photographed any of them yet. For now it just feels good to be back.  I have missed my blogging world and all the quiet joy it brings me to read your posts and partake in the sharing of our lives, as little or as much as we want to share, with each other.  It's a cyber community which I am happy to be a part of.

  2. Hi Beca, welcome back to the blog world! Your blog is on my reading list and was wondering why you stopped posting. Your blog is like a little serene and peaceful escape, I love visiting it.
I am ready for spring too. Luckily, here in Northern California it already begins to feel like it. Every day when I go for a walk around my neighborhood I look for the signs of spring - some trees are already blooming, and there are cheerful daffodils and narcissus.
These are beautiful pictures of your home. And I'm looking forward to seeing your crochet and knit projects!
    Enjoy your weekend!

  3. Hi Beca, glad to see that you are back to blogging! I was actually thinking about you just the other day and hoping all was well. The holidays do seem to gobble up all our free time......It's nice to see your sweet photos - so many lovely vignettes. Love your little 'Foxes'. I had a little laugh when I saw your earrings on the lamp shade. I do the same thing! We are just now getting some little glimpses of spring with some bulbs coming up and primroses blooming. Looking forward to seeing your projects. Sending hugs xo Karen

  8. No rules in blogging. You should be able to come and go as you please. There will always be someone here waiting for you. My blog posts are sporadic, not because I don't have things to post, but sometimes I just have to be in the right frame of mind. I definitely don't want to give it up because I've made so many good friends through it. Happy February!

  9. So happy you visited my place, Beca, because that means I found my way here to your lovely place. What a serene and happy place you have. Love the pretties sitting on your window shelf above the sink. The snippets of your home are lovely. Blogging is about sharing your everyday life punctuated by little breaks. I think breaks are a wonderful thing. I look forward to visiting your sweet place often throughout this new year.
